This is an optional step, but recommended in case something goes wrong. Back up your original Hotline Miami 2 executable.For Windows systems, XVI32 is a suitable program. You will be able to access the Editor from the main menu.Run the game using the modified executable.This will work with both GoG and Steam versions of the game. Here are multiple ways to access the editor in the current version: This version of the editor allows for single-floor levels. There is, however, a way to access an early, unfinished version of the editor that ships with the game files. Unfortunately, the complete version of the editor is not completed yet and will be released at a later date. Hotline Miami 2 will feature a full-fledged Level Editor that will make it possible for players to create their own maps, complete with cutscenes, multiple floors, music and pretty much everything else one could think of and/or wish for in a Hotline Miami game. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that maps made with the Alpha version will be compatible with the final release. For all we know, the final version might look completely different. Keep in mind that the current Alpha Level Editor is extremely preliminary, prone to crashes, buggy and unfinished - hence why it is not initially accessible.
